Many insurance plans cover lactation care. For in person care with a lactation consultant in the greater Baton Rouge area, Magnolia Lactation is in network with several plans.
Just like at the doctor’s office, each insurance plan is different and coverage will vary. Current Plans Included:
- Aetna/Meritain – PPO, POS, OAP (Visit limits may apply)
- BCBS – Anthem PPO, Federal, Regence PPO, Premara PPO (BCBS plans can vary in their coverage of lactation)
- Cigna – PPO, POS, OAP, EPO
- UHC/UMR – PPO, EPO
